The main objectives of the Authority is to manage the day-to-day affairs of the Millennium Centre, to raise fund, prepare design, plan & estimates, call for tender, construct, appoint or engage contractors or suppliers, execute, and maintain Millennium Centre, Aizawl, Mizoram and perform such other functions as the Government may prescribe from time to time.
Without prejudice to the General Objects mentioned above, the objectives, in particular, of the Authority are:
i) To raise fund by way of assistance, bonds, grant, contributions, deposit, share and loans towards development of Millennium Centre, Aizawl.
ii) To undertake or delegate any work, programme and function in the Millennium Centre development and related functions.
iii) To economically and efficiently manage and run the Millennium Centre, Aizawl.
iv) To collaborate with any other institutions / organizations / persons having objectives wholly or partly similar to that of the Authority.
v) To mobilize resources of the Centre by putting it to the best uses, to raise revenue and to credit the profit to the State exchequer.
vi) To discharge such other duties and to perform such other functions as the Government may deem it necessary.
