The Millennium Centre is constructed with an objective inter alia, of providing the urban need with efficient implementation and management.
A society namely 'Millennium Centre Authority' is established to implement and manage the Millennium Centre.
The Millennium Centre is the property of the Government of Mizoram while the Authority is vested with its day-to-day management in consonance with the objectives set forth herein above.
The name of the society is 'Millennium Centre Authority, Mizoram' and called hereinafter as 'Authority'.
The Authority has its registered office at Aizawl, Mizoram and its address in Engineer-in Chief's Office, P.W.D., Tuikhuahtlang, Aizawl-796001.
Its area of operation is within Aizawl City.
There is a Governing Board, an Executive Committee and such other functionaries as may be prescribed by the rules of the Authority.
